Indian Culture ( way of life)

Food, Clothing and Shelter

1.  Indians were hunters with spears, bows and arrows and tomahawks (for meat)

2. Farmers for vegetables (maize = corn)

3.  No horses, cattle, hogs, chickens, or metal tools till Europeans came in 1500s.
4.  Used animal skins for clothing

5.  Lived in tepees, wigwams and hogans


Religion

1.  believed in many gods of nature
