Johann Gutenberg invented the movable type printing press and produced the Bible as the first book printed.

1. Printing Press made it possible for everyone to have a Bible.

2.  Erasmus published the New Testament in the original Greek.

3.  A new era dawned as people could read their own Bible in their own language.
