Genesis: means beginning or orgin

"in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth"

Man was God's last creation

Adam and Eve:  

Adam's name means "man"

Eve:  "mother of all"

Why is man special to God? p 4  

Because he alone was created in the image of God

List man's three special characteristics. p 4

Rebellion: Adam and Eve were not to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Satan came in and tempted Eve.

Adam and Eve made a choice.  History is really a study of man's choices.
