The story of Joseph and Moses goes through Egypt.  For centuries Egypt's past remained a mystery until French soldiers uncovered the Rosetta Stone.

 

 

 

 

 

1.  The Rosetta Stone contained a message carved in three languages.  1.  hieroglyphics, 2. demotic, and 3. Greek 2.  French scholar Jean Francis Champollion worked 14 years to translate the stone and solve the riddle of hieroglyphics. (HIEROGLYPHICS CHALLENGE)

Why has Egypt been a storehouse for relics of the past? p 28 because the hot and dry climate kept things preserved.
