The Reign of Lenin and Stalin

Russian Revolution:

In 1917 Communist revolutionaries over threw the Czar and established the first communist state in history

Nikolai Lenin became the leader in Russia.

Lenin established the "Red Terror" and the first concentration and slave labor camps.

Lenin  controlled the churches, education, seized all land, nationalized all businesses.

Lenin created the Union of Soviet Socialists Republics or USSR.  This brought all 15 non Russian nationalities under the control of Lenin.

What was the Third International dedicated to? spreading communism worldwide.

Who was Stalin's main rival? Trotsky   What eventually happened to Trotsky? fled to Mexico and was murdered

Stalin instituted a 5 Year Plan to moderinize Russia.  He crushed millions of Russians who opposed him.  Over 10 million Russians eventually die in his regiem.  They joined the over 7 million Lenin killed through Communism.

Communism would continue to enslave millions around the world.
