History & Bible Class Supplies needed: Textbook, loose-leaf notebook paper or spiral notebook, pencil, colored pencils, pens, red pen. This class will cover topics found in the textbook as well as current events taught from a Christian perspective. Mr. Cap tries to use the latest Internet and computer access advantages a teacher can have. Grading: I cover a chapter or a ½ chapter of the textbook each week, and students will be required to read the textbook before the lessons are taught throughout the week. You may take notes over the reading assignment and use those notes for a quiz each Monday. Reading notes and class notes can be used for each Monday's quiz. Isn't that cool ? Homework: Check Mr. Cap's lesson plans on the website for homework assignments. There will be one written assignment each week due Wednesday. These assignments are very easy and should take about 15-20 minutes to complete. Ten percent will be deducted for each day the assignment is late, up to fifty percent. There will also be a three and six week exam during the second and third quarters and a nine week exam given each quarter.
